Accept a partial code match when customers enter a promo code

By default, your event will accept only an exact match for promo codes (when the customer is using them at checkout).

However, if you want to allow more flexibility, you can contact our team and we can set your event to accept a 'partial match' promo code. By definition, a partial match occurs when there is a "Starts With" match. For example, if your promo code is  "ABCDE" and the customer applies "ABC" at checkout, then this will match. If the customer applies "BCD" however, it will not match.

Note: Please note that when partial matching is enabled, then you must avoid promo codes with similar labels. If EventsPass matches the customer typed promo code with two of active promo code, then it will apply the promo code which was created in your event first. For example, if you have two promo codes ("ABCDX" and ""ABCDY"), and the customer applies "ABC" in the prom code box, then EventsPass will partial match with the code that was created first.
