Update your app security and scanning settings

Various settings in the LeadGen app can be toggled to personalize your app experience. To update these settings, while logged in to your event in the LeadGen App, tap the icon that looks like a cog.

Description of each setting:

  1. Always-on scanning: If enabled, the device will always leave the camera on when in scanning mode (note: this significantly reduces battery, only recommended for powered devices)
  1. Security settings: Allows you to enable advanced security. Enable advanced security if you want to require an app pin to exit from the scanning mode (useful when attendees may be holding your device)
  1. Pointer Overlay: Enable this if you would like some guide markers to appear as an overlay above the camera screen when in scanning mode (to illustrate where to place the ticket barcode)
  1. Notes & Score: Enable this if you want the notes and lead scoring fields to show alongside your custom form, each time you scan a lead. Disable this if attendees are completing their own form. Leads can be edited at any later time (if you wish to manually add notes or a score).
  1. Scan Screen Theme: Toggle between the app default Blue theme and the White theme.
