Scan a test ticket with the LeadGen app before your event starts

SCAN THE TEST QR CODE

PERFORM A TEST SCAN ON THE QR CODE BELOW WHILE LOGGED IN TO THE LEADGEN APP

Below is a test QR code (an example ticket barcode) on which you can perform a test scan using the LeadGen app, with any LeadGen package that you have already activated (your LeadGen package status is shown in your vendor portal).

The test scan must be done from your logged in LeadGen app (do not use another third party QR code scanner application).

When you scan this QR code, it will display the LeadGen lead capture form that you have configured, but will not save any actual leads to your account.  If you have not added any custom questions to your package, then a test scan will simply show the thank you message (the same result if you scan an attendee ticket that is pre-registered). If you have custom questions on your package, then the test scan will show you what these questions will look like upon scanning during your event.

Note: If one of your staff previously scanned this QR code with your LeadGen account, then the next time you scan this QR code the app may notify you that the QR code has already been scanned (i.e., saved to your account).

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS TO PERFORM A TEST SCAN

Log in to your account on the LeadGen app, and tap on your event name.

Your event dashboard will load. From the event dashboard, tap 'Lead Scan' to prepare your device for scanning.

Tap on the screen to load the scanner (camera).

If using LeadGen for the first time, the app may ask for permission to use the camera. Please ensure you tap 'Allow' if prompted for camera access. If you do not provide camera access, the app will not function correctly.  To correct the camera permissions please see here.

Aim the app scanner at the test QR code shown above, until the app recognizes it.

That's it - you are done testing!
